Today, over 800 independent mutual fund advisors channel mutual fund transactions through our dealership, Worldsource Financial Management Inc.

A mutual fund dealer is a company that provides the trading compliance and administration of mutual fund transactions. Regulations require that all mutual fund purchases be provided through a mutual fund dealer. We have a compliance team on staff to deal with all regulators and the major fund companies to ensure that transactions and services provided are compliant with the regulations of these governing bodies.

However, as we continue to set the highest ethical standards for ourselves, operating with confidentiality and integrity, we offer more than just compliance. Worldsource Financial Management provides proactive training, operations and sales support, technically advanced business management and planning tools to benefit both advisors and investors. As well, mutual fund advisors have access to a full suite of securities through Worldsource Securities.

Carissa has been working in the financial planning industry for the past four years. She is an associate at Perler Financial Group. Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree from Simon Fraser University, as well as other certification in the industry. Carissa’s mentor and senior advisor is Jeremy Low; one of the top advisors at Worldsource Financial Mgt.

Carissa’s financial planning approach is centered on her client’s values and goals. She aspires to understand what is important to them, then educate and give them tools to achieve these goals. Carissa’s focus is not just for her clients to survive, but to thrive in all aspects of their life.

Furthermore, Carissa is a youth leader and an involved member in her church. She resides with her husband, Matt, in Port Coquitlam, where they are actively involved in the community.
